Since Nils and I were the BRAG meeting tonight we decided the plan for Saturday. We'll meet at SPHD at 8am and leave by 8:30. This is to beat the heat and just get going early so we can cover some miles and be home by afternoon. Hopefully Scott can show us the good roads....I've heard great things! If Scott can't make it then Nils will try to find the good roads and probably get us lost. See ya there!!! |

I have 2 Ducs: a very early 916 currently on ebay. I also have a beautiful, yellow ST2 with only 7K on the clock. It is currently being serviced and new tires mounted. Have your friend send me an email if interested. drdezmo@yahoo.com M |

Anybody thinking about riding a leg of Ferris Bueller Rides Again? I am thinking about leaving Sat. 9/3 morning for Appelton. Staying the night in Appleton and riding to Waterloo on Sun. 9/4. Staying the night in Waterloo and heading back to Mpls/St. Paul Mon. 9/5. That's the plan I'm thinking about right now anyway. |

Sorry I didn't make it to First Thursday. I passed out when I got home from work. It'll take me a while to get used to this "work" thing. I should be there next month, probably with a bike. I'll keep you guys informed on the search. I found one down in Ames for $4500, just have to see if I can scrape the money together. Talk at you later. |

I looked around but didn't see either of you. It was a pretty good turnout. As usual, some really neat bikes. More and more of the "bling" bikes. I wonder how many of them really have Nos in the onboard tanks.... Lots of turbo'd Busa's and others. |

Is there a plan for a meeting tonight? If not I'd suggest we quick stop by Betty's to chat about the Saturday ride. If no replies to this post I'll assume everyone is busy. |

Hey, guys. I'm getting a bike! I found an '03 XB9R with race kit for $4500. It only has 3451 miles on it. I don't know when I'll be able to pick it up, though. I'll let you know. |

Lou, I've got a trailer you can use if you need it. It's hauled Buell's all over the country! Nice little trailer, real easy towing. |

Shouldn't need it, Brad. My girlfriend will drive me down and I'll ride it back. Woohoo, I'm a Buelligan, again! |

Lou, that's awesome you found a bike. I'm jealous of the price too, that's a great deal for a low mile 9R. For Saturday, I'll plan on being at SPHD by 9am. |

Scott, thanks for leading us around on Saturday. I had an awesome time, the most fun I've ever had on the road. I'm glad we had a group of eight out this time, previously it was always just one or two. You were asking about the track class and if you could get in on the one this year. It looks like no. Click here for the calendar, it's all full for the year. But next year it will hopefully start up in the spring and there will be plenty of chances to go. It's a great class, I learned a lot, and would recommend it to anyone riding a bike...especially if you're not comfortable diving into the corners the way we did on Saturday! I can't wait for fall color rides! |

Eric, You're welcome. I had a good time also. So good in fact I invite anyone who is free on Sunday to come out and play some more. MAybe meet around 10ish at Dunn Brothers and explore some St Croix county roads I got a couple picked out on the maps that look like a good time. Walter dropped off a floppy disc with some photos but I don't appear to have a functional A drive anywhere in the house. |

I'm not sure I'll be free this weekend but hopefully can get out for some more WI backroads before the snow flies. The only picture I have (crappy camera phone) is of the frame puck damage on the Ulysses. I still can't believe how well that came out of the lay down!
