Yo Bob, Chris 'n' Loni are headed south Saturday afternoon for the annual trek to Donner. We'll be spending the first part of the week at Trinity lake in NoCal. New roads to ride, spend a day or two on the lake, general RnR.
Friday morning we'll leave for Donner, maybe four hour drive. We'll be there early afternoon.

I'm thinking a Friday evening run to grocery store may be a necessity, if only to let the locals know were there.

Kim, glad to hear you're planning on making the Boarder Raid. It's a Blast, or is it a Firebolt, Lightning, Thunderbolt, Westwind, Road Warrior?

Chris :)
Loni :)

Where's the damn icons

Bob & Debbie- Would you like the pink sheets or the green ones? How fluffy do you like your pillow Debbie? I'll make sure it is just right and all the laundry is off the bed and that there is plenty of parking room in the garage! Looking forward to having you guys over night.

ps.... got to do some riding the last 2 days, nothing big, but I got a little time in.

See you soon,

Kimberlie

Well Bobby if I didn't know any better I would say the Speed 4 is for me? However I am quite shagadelic on the SV, so I don't think I will be getting the Speed 4. Mike and I went over to Portland Motorcycle and I sat the Speed 4, it was not very comfy, I didn't like the Speed 4.... but if it shag's better than the SV well it might come in handy?

Mike and I are off on a date for a shaglish time, to see a groovy movie- Maybe there will be a Speed 4 in that movie? No- it has a beautiful british shaquar!

wow- Bob 10 yrs, Debbie how do you do it? You have a few more though to catch up with Mike and I. btw Bob did I mention the Speed 4 is not for me?

Sugar and Spice and SV - that's...... me

Kimberlie

ps.... .did I mention Speed 4 enough times?

Good for you Paul! Before you put money down on a Speed Triple you should look at a Yamaha FZ1. Great bike, cheap price. If you still want a Triumph, the dealer in Lacey has a new '01 for $8,500. It looks just like MororBike Mike's only black.

Well, I have to agree with that since I own a 02 FZ1 with 6k on the odo and no problems. Terrific all rounder...sport tourer, hooligan, commuter and sportbike all in one. Low, simple maintenance, over 20k miles between valve adjustments. As much as I liked my M2, you cannot go wrong with a Fizzer. IMO...
I noticed a couple of black ones on the SPLASH event.
Might see ya at Border Raid.

Ray & BCMike,
Thanks for the suggestions but.....Rick made me a deal I could't refuse so I'm taking delivery of his black Daytona on Tuesday.

Bob,
Can you send me pictures and discription of what you did to Debbie's rear end, er..I mean her bike's rear end?

Anybody want to split the cost on a room with Galen and I on Border Raid? We should actually make some reservations this year.

Way to go Paul! You get a great bike and you help Rick out. A win/win situation. That's the way things should always work. That, and the '01 Speed3 is still in Lacey for me to buy.

Victoria BCMike: Have you done any engine mods to the Fizzy one? Ivans jet kit, X-over intake, or new muffler? Ya got an e-mail address?

I-90 motorsports has a 2001 Speed Triple for 7-somthing. has a flyscreen and other extras. Belongs to a friend of the saleman. Sounds pretty nice. That was my plan "B"

Bob,
Yeah, I may have to buy Ibuprofen by the case...On the other hand, if I ride faster than the riding position is not so bad is it?

CAP, you da man! I really like that bike you got now. I heard talk of a place where we could ALL fit together in a house or something @ Whistler? One way or another...

My connection was suposed to go down on the first of JULY! I guess they missed my plug.

BettyBuell is almost all together and lookin' fine thanks to some of the Rainforest's finest. Duane for a flyscreen and a front dender, Brandon for the handelbar dealieo that holds the new dash that BOB the Great has fashioned for me! Yea Baby! I really like the S-1 fender, looks better than the S-3 one did. There are easier inspirations for a motorcycle make-over, however.

RAY2K, did you check out that weirdness I posted for you???? Glad to see oyu back. Never heard the decision on your M2? Is it dead? Glad you aren't!

sooner, GALEN

Galen: You know darn good and well I've got the attention span of a Gnat. Yes, I was at the weirdness you posted for em but after about 250 clicks I was back to the dead puppies and I decided I could better spend my time eating the olives from a newly dry Martini glass.

Yes the Y2K M2 is dead. About $5,800 worth of damage puts it well into the "Total" category. Destination has done their part and right now I'm dealing with the insurance company and waiting for a settlement. I guess one trick an insurance company plays is to drag the proceedings out as long as humanly possible in hopes the injured party (me) will take the first offer ($$$) they make. But time is on my side in this case, as the new models are almost out and old models are getting cheaper with each passing week. I'm pretty convinced my bike was worth at least $8,000. Maybe more. Lots more. Plus the $10,000 helmet. I'm holding out for a fair settlement so it might be a while before I get another bike. Thanks for asking.

I don't yet know what I'm going to do for a new bike. The Buell XB9S will be out by the time I get an insurance settlement and it’s pretty cool but it’s expensive. I've grown VERY fond of 2001 Speed Triples and Black Yamaha FZ-1's.

Steve: Yes I am. How come you’re selling? What are you going to get next? A T-bird Sport perhaps?
