St. Paul Harley-Davidson-Buell is having their Grand Re-Opening this Saturday April 6th from 9:00 - 6:00. The St. Paul BRAG Chapter will have a set-up. Hope to see a good turn out! | ||

A couple of rides to kick off the new year are coming up: The "Defrost Your Nuts" run is this Saturday April 13th from Hudson. The week after is the "Flood Run" on the 20th which leaves from Lakeland. If anyone is going, you can post it. Looks like I'll be able to make the Flood Run to Winona. | ||

All, I am looking at riding down to Waterloo on Sunday for their Battletrax, well depending on how cold it is in the morning. It looks to be about a three hour ride to get there. If anyone is interested let me know, if it is above 40 in the morning I will be heading down, it has to warm up. Dave, do you have things planned yet for the demo rides on the 4th. I will be working that afternnon but can help out with what ever is needed in the morning till about 3 or so. My X1 will be getting tuned so unless someone wants to lend me a bike I won't be much use on the rides. Mike E | ||

HELP, Is anyone in the twin cities area good with tracking down charging issues? I cannot find out where my charging problems are coming from. While running my bike only has 12.4 volts at the battery, which is way low. I removed the powercommander that I installed thinking that was causing problems, I cleaned the regulator ground, checked all the connections and I still cannot see where my problems are coming from unless the regular has gone bad or the stator is bad. I will provide beer to whoever wants to help figure this out. I will be looking at this again next Monday and Tuesday night. Mike E 00 X1 | ||

Mike, Have you checked the alternator output into the voltage regulator? I don't have a X1 manual, but the pinout should be the same as a M2 regulator. I'll check my manual when I get home. Also, you may want to post this in the electrical section of the KV. I'm sure someone will chime in with suggestions. Brad | ||

Where were you guys on Sunday? You missed BattleTrax! We had 45 riders compete. The weather was cold but still had a great time. There will be more! Great to find a place where Minnesota Buellers can interact. I had fun at the Buell open house on saturday talking with other Buellers and riding the red x-1, maybe because I was in gears 1 and 2 most of the time... Brad, nice to meet you and Mike I seem to have missed you. One question though, do I have to be a member of BRAG to go on these rides with you guys at these meets? Sean: Glad you had the chance to have some fun on the X1. The St. Paul Buell Chapter meets the second Thursday of the month (tomorrow night) at St. Paul HD at 7:00. You do have to be a member of BRAG to take advantage of all our perks. My suggestion is to make one of our meetings, and we'll get you set up with the national BRAG folks. As far as any rides that are set-up through this site....EVERYONE is welcome to ride!!!! | ||
