Rocco yeah they can do that.Good people there and quality work.I've had them do various things over the years.They are located about 2 miles east of my bar on hwy 20 (Washington ave.) and then to Hayes ave.Go North 1/2 block not even. | ||

ok i am pissed, my battery and voltage regulator have died together, again. Any thoughts as to what might be causing this problem? | ||

ohh yeah these only lasted about two months. Does heat play a part in the voltage regulator life? been noticing when oil gets low temps go up.... | ||

Nitris re you sure its the voltage reg. and not the Stator??One more thing...did Ukes work on it the last time??They couldn't fix a leaky rocker gasket on the wifes Blast for crumbs sake.Griz and I did that over again less 100 miles later.So much for warranty work at least I didn't have to pay for that. | ||

yeah i'm sure it's not the stator, read the book twice tested it twice, it's not grounded, the windings are good when ohmed and i get 45 (give or take) AC volts at 2000 rpm, tested the output of the voltage regulator, the new one brand new put out 1.7 volts (when paired with the batery maintained a 13 ish voltage, however the battery is dead, and the regulator is puting out a whoping .3 volts, and cant test it running, the battery had been warrantied once already for being a dead abttery, so i'm gonna take it back again and have them test it, should have droped the coin on a decent battery but hind sight is always 20/20. | ||
