Author Message   M2guy Posted on Monday, June 27, 2005 - 09:42 am:        Wow, After a sweltering 101° on friday! I managed to pull off some of my best races yet!! Saturday GT Lights race was shortened by about 5 min due to a crash, not me I finished 11th which I was very happy with, moving forward in the field the whole race. Formula 40 LW I was in a heated battle for the lead with 2 other bikes, and I think the excitement got the better of me and I went wide in turn 4 and ran out of track, rode the grass for a bit and got back in line, now 4 seconds behind the leaders Never got my rythem back after that and finnished 3rd!!!!!! Still very happy! Sunday, LW GP, Battled for 10-12 the whole race and managed 11th Very fun race! LW SuperSport, Moved up through the field, passed a bike going into the final lap, then debris in turn 2, I went wide again , over the rumble strips, into the grass, watched the bike I passed go by, then got back on track and chased him down. Final turn, got a great run and passed him and another bike on the final straight! To my surprise, I was told to go to tech, all top 3 finnishers in this division had to go to tech that day!!! Another 3rd!!! I believe the leader crashed out which moved me to 3rd! After camping out for the weekend in the sweltering heat, I must say this was an awesome weekend for J & S Racing! He and a buddy buy a lot of cars and bikes for cheap thru a Motor Home dealership that people trade in then resell them. Picked up the Ninja for $2500 and sold it for $5300 when we were down there. No Dana, not leaving anytime soon. Although I'd like to. Jason, ya doin' the Track Day or what? Sheesh, this is becoming an anti-sociale group! Tried riding the buell around the block with the cast and I just can't hang on with the cast, So I will probably give up my seat to Leah again next shoot out. Will definitely show up wednesday though as i need a fix! The bike is ready for the track. The new tires are finally here, but I can't get the put on till the 11th. Racine can't, Uke's can't. Oh well, I'll use the 207's for the track. They'll be pretty well burned up after that. I'll talk with you there Jason about this weekend and heading up to Blackhawk. I'll still PM you my numbers just to be on the safe side.   Buells Rule!
