Bud's H-D/ Buell has been chartered for a B.R.A.G. chapter. Our meetings are on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00. Hi Neil, don't know if you remember me, but you helped me put a head light in my X1 outside your room at Homecoming last year. Since then I have done extensive mods to my bike. It sure looks like you have also. That is a kick *ss X3 you have built. Anyway my question to you is, are any of your Brag members going to the Indy sportbike rally in May? Good evening all. It's that time again. Thursday night, May 3rd, B.R.A.G. meeting at Bud's Eastside at 6:30PM. There are a couple of new Buelligans on the list and I would like you all to show up and introduce yourselves. If you're shy we have accommodations for that (don't ask). Other than that a few things to discuss and events coming up soon. Some talk about safety, recalls, service bulletins, and general Buellshit. Just an update: Had a great B.R.A.G. meeting. 2 new members from KY. and had 2 S.L.A.B.agians show up (Bob & John). Seems like people are getting interested in what they can do to their Buells and what can be done. They are also interested in what sort of things are going on in this region, the whole Buell community and the "Net". Believe it or not there are some Buelligans that don't know about BWB or ATC or SACBORG! Well we tried to educate them. Good technical safety sessions. Neil...John and I would like to thank your club for the hospitality shown us...It is always good to see how someone else does something and one thing I really picked up on was your tech briefing of the current issues...I have asked Kevin Haney to be responsible for this at our meetings...Kevin is the service manager at Widman and is a new M2 owner and loving it... On another matter...What do you think about trying to get all the area clubs together once a year at a campground in the Ozarks for a short Friday Saturday Sunday rally and how would the weekend of Oct 12 - 14 work for your group...We probably would want to do some kind of pre-registration to get an idea of the number to plan for... Just in case you missed it on GDB: Hey Buelligans BE THERE, BE THERE! This Friday and Saturday in little 'ol Evansville, Indiana we are having "Thunder on Morgan" at Bud's H-D/ Buell on the corner of Greenriver Rd. & Morgan Ave. This year the "DRAG Truck" that was in Daytona and Louisville will be the star event. For those not familiar with the "Drag Truck" it is an 18 Wheeler with 2 Dyno-jet dynos on the rear end and a "Christmas" tree (no it's not that time of the year, it's a drag racing starting lights tree). This is the easiest way to compete one-on-one with any bike around without that ever present fear of wheeling over backwards. You load your bike up, there is even a burn out pit, strap it down and "run what ya brung". You get results of your reaction time, 1/8 & 1/4 mile times and Tq and HP numbers. You get three runs for $20.00 and from what I hear it the cheapest adrenaline rush you'll have without the risk. Ok call us Wusses Sean, but your invited to. It starts this Friday at 12:00 noon and runs till 8:00PM. Saturday the smoke starts at 9:00AM and runs until there is no one left. If anybody needs additional information drop me a line, I'm good with maps and such. Later all Neil S. Just got off the phone with Leslie Prevish and she is going to be in STL next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday taking part in H-D's Route 66 ride...We are going to meet her for dinner on Tuesday, June 26th at the hotel at Harrah's in Riverport to ride to the dinner location where the Route 66 group (1200 bikes!) is to be entertained...This should be fun...You are invited to join us...If you need overnite lodging in STL let me know at 314.821.0776 days, or 636.938.3788 evenings...
