I nominate Dennis, the guy with a yellow XB9S, not my brother, but the old fart who has some government job. I think he would do a great job for our group and would stand up for everyone. Ya we need someone that knows how the inner workings of the government are, isn't that how Gails is run?

Dennis you have my vote.

Some people didn't like the way I slammed it through, and complaints were lodged online and privately. Das is doing it properly.

Damn, I'm not sure if this is a Buell or not? That looks like a V-Twin to me?
Either way that's an awesome bike.
This bike was the pic of the day on www.bikepics.com on 4/28/05.

Think that's a Yamaha V-Max, it's still a sweet looking bike.

You gentleman have any suggestions where I should take my XB9S to get it dyno'd? I'm tired of messing around with this TFI, just let a professional do it.

Check out Mid America Power Sports for Dyno. I've heard they do a good job and that they are inexpensive.

No strife here implied.I just know there are certain procedures to follow, and if we are going to follow them, follow them, and if we arent,we arent.I like to think rules are for everybody to follow all the time, not just for a select few or when they are convient. It doesnt really matter WHO is director of this club,it takes ALL of us working together to make this thing work, this is OUR CLUB.Chains are only as strong as their weakest lengths, lets not let trivial problems,or a few rifts in the force, cause the weakest length to break.I encourage everybody to just hang in there,it WILL get better,we just need to be PATIENT.I've talked to those in power at Gails, and its going to come around.I've been talking to those same people for a couple of years now,not just the few months the club has been at Gails. Those who weather this stuff out will be glad they did, those who choose not to....your loss!WE need to quit trying to compare this club to any other, its not any other club,ITS OURS,WE make it WORK,or WE make it FAIL.Its up to you guys !

I wonder how many in the group and at Gails realize all of the time and effort Dennis has invested in the club? I haven’t personally been with him for much of it but I do know form past experience how much time it takes to do what he has done, and he has done more than an excellent job and gone far beyond his call. Dennis you have done a wonderful job and I for one understand a lot of what you have done and appreciate it verrrrrrry much. I don’t think many people would have done half of what you have done for us!!!! THANK YOU !!!!!!!!

Rules need to be read to be known and followed. I read them and I followed them. The rule is this...

The sponsoring dealer can appoint any and all officers. There are no requirements to hold elections.

Check the rule book.

So,I guess if Dennis leaves for the sand dunes,or whatever,we just go in and ask,the sponsoring dealer what officers they want to appoint? That may or may not be the thing to do!I guess we will see how that will pan out when the time comes.

Gail's American Heartland BRAG Club no longer has a club director.

It is not because I am leaving for Iraq. I do not know about that job yet. Though I really hope I go.

For the purpose to present Roger Fleener with club records and related materials, I will make my LAST visit to the dealership Saturday morning.

I chose to terminate my relationship with the dealership and resign as club director.

My reasons are many... one of which was a remark made by an employee to my son during the demo day. After that, there was a "straw that broke the camel's back" cumulation of factors, attitudes, and comments. One of which is "they are not doing their part". This is due to a number of factors and observations since I took this office. "They talk is talk, but won't walk the walk." I don't expect too many to understand what I mean by this, but I know at least 1/4 of the membership knows exactly what I mean.

Some of you may have a different opinion... and you are entitled to form your own opinion.

Don't bother to ask... I have no patience to explain anything to any body. The two parties at the dealership that need to know why, have been told why. I can think of nothing that would ever make me change my mind about ever visiting that dealership again.

Richie... I suggest you go see Gail this weekend and ask to take the position of club director. Keith, join him and see if there is one for you too. If you do not want that position, I suggest you STFU about how the position is filled and who takes it!

Anyone who has some hateful or smartazzed thing to say to me. Don't waste you time posting it... as I won't see it and if I do will not be pimped into a post.

If anyone want to criticize the job I did... I suggest you take the position of club director first so you know what the fck you are talking about before you criticize. Put your money where your mouth is and go see Gail about being the club director! or STFU

I must say that I am extremely disapointed to see Dennis make this decision! I think he has done a great job building on what Tripper and many others started. Just an outside observation. I hope that you guys are able to continue to move forward as a group, dealership support or not. I know Trip and Dennis have worked very hard to make this group work and progress.

Keith

p.s. Dennis, you are still going to be around for comedy relief during our visits to KC? right? Heather and I were planning a trip over to see the little terror, I mean little Minnich, soon. email me.
