Glad someone got to ride.. I got all hung up.. Only managed to ride to work and then home..  Then Sunday due to prior commitments, I couldn't ride at all.. Two beautiful days.. and I'm unable to take advantage of them.. Yep, I'm in a sour mood because of it.. But, hopefully it won't be that long before I'm out and just having fun.. Can someone please do something about this whole Iraq issue? It's killing my riding time. I haven't had a Saturday off in over a month. The weather was GORGEOUS yesterday and Saturday, but unfortunately I was at work, and who wants to ride when there is beer to drink on Super Bowl Sunday?? Oh well....Hopefully it get's better soon.....but I'm sure by then I'll have to move my posts to the Marietta, Georgia area of the bulletin board. Getting moved out of the DC area soon! | ||

Hey, I turn my back for a few, and look there is excitement in the land of MD/DC VA. Love it. I too managed to walk my bike gently over the icy patch outside of the garage, then off for a ride to Battlefield HD. Got a gift card for Christmas, but have yet to do buy anything with it. Any how.......... I WILL make a group ( Buell ) ride this year. | ||

I will have to hook up and ride with the group this year. I am already planning a Myrtle Beach ride for bike week this year and I'll have to go to this BRAG event in MD too. Not to sure about track days, but if you everyone is up for Summit JC and we can get a group thing going that would be fun. Anyways~the bike is in order and I am ready! Will probably ride to work tomorrow-Enjoy all! | ||

Departing HD/B Of Ft Washington at 8 AM. Be ready with a full tank of gas for a fun 90 mile ride to the Track via GW Parkway, Routes 193, 7, 9, 51 and 13 to the track. Entrance fee for Sunday is $15. Speedway Ice Racing this weekend at the MCI Center! World Championship Ice Racing Series Next: 2/26 , 7:30PM; MCI Center 601 F St NW Washington, DC 20004 202-628-3200 Apparently, racing motorcycles at high speeds on dirt tracks just wasn't enough of a challenge for some daredevils, and thus was born the World Championship Ice Racing Series, in which riders install silver studs in their tires and challenge their skills on an ice-covered oval track. The Ice Speedway Series comes to DC with races in several categories: Nitro Speedway Bikes (fuel-burning, brakeless speedway motorcycles), Unlimited Outlaw Quads (highly modified ATV's racing on an oval track) and Xtreme Open Speedway Karts (open four-stroke, fuel-burning karts, also racing on an oval track). A new event has been added this year -- the Flat Track Mad Dogs, open to four-stroke production motorcycles up to 150cc in displacement. Okay, the new FUEL mag is out, and I see that there will be a BRAG Adventure ride in western MD this fall. Now, we at least should be able to gather our local selves up and plan for that one, anyone? | ||

All bikes are welcome. You could meet us at the gas station on Rt 9 west (a Texaco?) right after you leave rt 7 west. If we leave HDW at 8 am, we should be around there by 9:30. You could just tag on to the back of the group as we ride by, or we could stop there for a moment. Hugh, not planning on Myrtle. I don't think there will be a battletrax there, but you might want to check. | ||
