OK, we have a date, January 23rd. These Lakeland guys like to eat so anyone have a good suggestion on a meeting spot in the Leesburg-Mt Dora vicinity? Gator Harley Davidson in Leesburg. They are very biker friendly and have picnic tables outside under shade. Might want to clear it with them first, eh. Also, I know there is a Sonny's around there somewhere. Steve-O | ||

OK, talked to some of the Lakeland guys today. How's this for a meetup plan. The Lakeland BRAG club will meetup with the Gainesville (and surrounding area) Buell riders Sunday Jan 23 9:30am at Gator HD/Buell in Leesburg. From there we can determine where we want to eat. The Lakeland riders will meet at Lakeland HD/Buell at 8:00 and head out about 8:30 All riders and bikes welcome, don't have to own a Buell to join us. | ||

Mike, I emailed the info to a handful of Orlando Buell riders and I also wrote a note to "sales" at Gator HD/Buell to inform them of the ride. I asked them to spread the word to their Buell customers and to post a note on their bulletin board at the shop. Hopefully they'll follow through. I'll let you know if I hear anything from them. I rode to Daytona today (Sunday). Burned out on Buells so rode my Bourget (haha). Met up with Al at Daytona HD/Buell and mentioned the Jan 23rd ride to him too. Hopefully he and some Daytona area Buellers can make it. Frank | ||

Frank I got your message today and have been spreading the word to all of my Buell customers. It is unfortunate, but we do not have a bulletin board at the new dealership yet. I've had quite a few people express interest though and I'm hoping for a good sized group. Talk to you guys in a few days huh  . | ||

I am going to try to make this one. Not sure if i am going to ride down to Lakeland just to ride back to Leesburg or just over to Leesburg. (I live 30 minutes away). I think it will end up being one of those last minute deals. Where I will know the night before. | ||

An idea was brought up to meet in Lakeland for the Stunt Wars. Feb 11-13. Not sure which day yet, but definately going to this one. |
