Well got the bike back from LVHD  LVHD did me real good. Replaced my timing seal, adjusted my stearing head, cleaned my air filter, and adjusted my primary chain. All of that for under 8$. I was expecting to pay my 50$ deduct. So I am real happy about that. Now momma is taking the babies to the groomer. I should have spent the 50$ on something for me and that bike. Oh well live and learn...............NOTE TO SELF: SPEND ALL MONEY WHEN IT IS OFFERED.. MIGHT NOT GET THE CHANCE FOR A AWILE....! | ||

Awesome Jake! Glad to hear ya got it back! Lets get in some ride time now?? On that note: Guys... it looks like my transfer to Florida is going to happen some time by the end of May. I know this is an advanced "goodbye" but I wanted to let you all know now so you can arrange for a new pres, and so I can pass the Meetup board over to John. We are already packing, and we are heading to Daytona in two weeks to look for housing. I'll still be out and about and will be more than happy to go ride with anyone that wants to go waste some gas! I'll be coming back and forth here forever as long as they have our airplanes in Vegas, so I wont nescasarily be a total stranger. Keep on plugging with the BRAG chapter and keep going with the group. It has came a LONG way since the first night that Jake, Owen and me met at the McDonalds! See ya all later, Nick | ||

I was wondering about the Judy thing my self. To all: March 19(saterday) I am thinking about going for a ride. Depends on if I am working on Sunday the 20. If not I will be going to McD's on Flamingo and Eastern at or around 11pm. From there I have no clue. Just want to ride. I will post on monday to confirm. Time may change. | ||

Hey Rich, To answer your first question..................Yeah I have no answer for it. I will bring it up to them though. Your second question. Judy is the liason between us and HHD. They figure if we have comments or complaints, they would like to hear it from one person instead of all of us individually. Judy works at the service desk at HHD and she happens to be a Buell owner herself along with her husband I believe. | ||

Well.. sorry we missed EVERYONE! John and I went out to Willow Beach. The ride out was pretty cool, with not much traffic. Now, the ride home...sucked! I went from the top of the hill at the dam, to the dam with the bike turned off! Just coasted my way longin the half hour traffic jam, but what the hell, I got to put almost 100 miles on the bike and the weather was nice. Nick | ||

Hey Rich: Honestly, John and I talked about the naming scheme yesterday. Neither of us can find that rule in the Brag bible. I hope we or John can get it clarified either through HHD or Buell. There are some other issues to be addressed. My suggestion, even though I am leaving soon, is for you ALL (every single member here) to schedule a meeting at HHD and talk with Andy. That can be a way to get to meet him, and for him to hear your gripes/praises. | ||

Dan, Take a look at the site now. Got it taken care of. If you don't see it, it's because you visit it a lot or your browser settings are not set to refresh each time you visit the page, so you might not see the change, but the rest of the world does. Your computer has a cached image of the page so... to fix.... do this Hold down the control (Ctrl) button on your keyboard while clicking on the Refresh button on your IE toolbar. Anybody wanna ride Thursday? I just got some new Pirellis that need to be broken in a bit, and I wanna try red rock, never ridden there before and I figure it would probably be pretty light traffic wise up there mid day Thursday. OK Vegas Buellers - it's official. We are officially doing our Golden State BRAG track day at Spring Mountain Motorsports Park (Pahrump) on 11 and 12 June. Last year we had 25 Buells in attendance and if you have never done a track day, now is the time. Candice Hurley is doing the legwork on this together with Todd Robinson at http://www.sportbiketracktime.com - you can email her for the official form which gets you our group discount. candice can be emailed at 2whlnut@sbcglobal.net and she can email you the forms. Also, if you would like, invite the LV HD/Buell folks to come out and they can talk to the guys who run Glendale and Hollywood HD/Buell so the can see what a cool thing BRAG can be - and why supporting it is a good thing! Here's the deal - $135 per day - $255 for both days. They have a deal with Pahrump Nugget (we stayed there last year, not bad) - $50 a night. The application is a PDF file - email me if you want a copy: qedqed ________at ___verizon ______dot ________net They will have Continental Breakfast, lunch, water and gatorade. Also available (for fee) Michelin street and race tires, VP fuel, Dyno service, Massage (yes!) - and hopefully they'll have an inflated jumpy thing for the kids too. They'll have an on-track photographer and MAYBE their videographer will be there with bike-mounted cameras (he will do a few laps following you for a fee - something like $50 for 20 minutes) Also, they hopefully have their suspension guy out there. Even if not, you can get lots of help and advice on suspension setup This is really a family-oriented thing. Don't get a babysitter, there's lots of us to help watch the little ones!
