I got McBrann's Cycle Shed at 72nd and North Oak to mount and balance tires for me, they charge $22 each and have plenty of experience doing high performance sport bike tires. I found a replacement Pirelli Diablo rear for $112, Gails and Worth North HD wants almost $200 for one. I have to play music at a wedding Saturday and can not go out to Gails for the fun, you guys be safe and have a great time. | ||

For what it's worth I received a letter from Buell yesterday indicating both Gail's and Worth H-D North are Buell dealers. I received the letter because I purchased my bike at Blue Springs and they were telling me of dealers in the area for warranty service. | ||

I recieved the letter also because we bought one from Central and it also said the same thing, Wonder why North got a dealership. | ||

Same letter... I was surprised too. I will call Roger and ask home today. In an oh so subtle, sort of way. I suspect something to do with the family tie / family feud thing in the background. My understanding was that those two dealerships were at one time part of the same corp, and the Blue Springs was independent. I may be recalling wrong. anyway I will post what I find out. | ||

OK... The only dealer is Gail. The North Oak store IS NOT a Buell dealer. The letter indicates them by mistake. I was told Gail and her brother bought the Belton store and the North Oak store from their dad. As a joint business venture. Dad eventually opened the Blue Springs store independently. Gail and brother "split", her taking Belton, him taking North Oak, no longer partnered businesses. Apparently, someone at HD has not kept up with the family feud... and remembers back when the Belton store and the North Oak store were of the same corp. All three "Worth" store are independent of each other. Actually there are no longer three Worth stores, now only two Worth stores. Gail is no longer a Worth store. The company name is "Gail's". Anyway... it is a mistake. Only Gail's is an authorized Buell dealer, only Gail's can do warranty parts, only Gail's can order Buell parts from the factory. The other stores can not do warranty work, but they can buy parts from another dealer, and work on Buells... but they can't get parts from the official parts source being they are not Buell dealerships. I hope this answers any questions about the letter. | ||

I called the Worth store and the fellow I talked to said that they are not selling Buells any longer, and wasn't sure if they did warranty work. He referred me to Gail's. I'm so heart broken....Erik signed the letter and everything!   | ||
