I think hangin' to good for the trooper. I would like to see him reassigned from 911 dispatch, to something more suitable for such a steller individual. OH! I know, how bout motorcycle patrol/funeral escort. Or better yet, meter maid! I usually try to show respect for those who serve & protect. Not because of all the ticket's to the policemen's ball I've received over the year's. But for simply putting their life on the line day after day, I respect that. And I understand that after 18 years on duty you could take humanity out of person. But as a father of three boy's, I think both parents should get a chance to kick that F'N guy square in the nut's. the comment's above, are only one man's opinion and do not reflect those of the badweb, kcmob,or bmc. so if they offend you or your's, please sue him. not use. p.s. pound sand.

Tripper, what brand of heated grips do you have? Do they work well, for the money? (I imagine they weren't cheap.) Did they effect your charging system?

Hi Zeus, ask bill , i can't remember the brand. Cheap snowmobile item, can be found on the web, $25. Work good, charging system handles it fine.

Love the way you pound sand!

I just got off the phone with Tom Sullivan, our West Tennessee State
Director, to discuss an idea with him...Tom had posted on the national
list to see if there was any interest in organizing a HSTA event
around the Art of the Motorcycle presentation at the Pyramid in
Memphis...His idea was to host a guided ride where they would show us
their good local roads...I noticed that there is an event planned for
the weekend the show opens...On Saturday, April 23rd, there is a ride
in to the show from two starting points in Memphis...Included in your
$30 registration fee is a limited edition ride patch and pin, post
ride party entrance ticket, food at the party and admission into The
Art of the Motorcycle exhibition...Info regarding this event can be
found at:

http://www.wonders.org/current/opening_ride.php

What we had in mind is riding down to Memphis Friday
afternoon/evening...Participating in the event on Saturday and dinner
Saturday evening at the Rendezvous (great, great BBQ), and meet our
Tennessee brothers and sisters for breakfast on Sunday...After which
they will show us three our four hours of good roads before we head up
the river to home...

TT...We could even try and ride the roads in eastern Arkansas that we
were rained out on in December coming back from Cajun Christmas...

So, what do you all think and would you be interested?...

Bob

A note to brothers Hanses. I just made a flying trip across Hwy 2. Gildford, Hingham, Rudyard and Chester are all still there, although buried under our most recent spring snow event (6-8" followed by the omnipresent wind).

Ride on,
Rob

Thanks Tim,

Found out I have very high Cholesterol (the bad stuff), causing me to black out time to time. I am on a new diet got it down in the 250 range now!
I am not blaming my mishap on it, but it sure seems to be a good out!!

Healing is good, bike is good, new brake lever installed, trying to put on some L.E.D. blinkers though and ran into a problem.
It seems that when I put the new L.E.D. blinker assembly on, the blinker blinks real fast, like as though the bulb was not even there??
Probably need a different flasher to make it work?
Any one else ever put L.E.D.'s on an XB yet?
My old S1 had L.E.D. all around and I never had this problem.
I need to get a rear swing arm slider's to cover the small scratches I put on it, and to prevent it from being really f*#@ed up in the future.

Well, seeing the weather is finally warming next week, and Diesel is over 2.15 a gallon, I will ride all next week to save some dough. At least that way I can play more this summer instead of being broke from the oil heads robbings.

Sorry Keef, I have to side with KC on this one, anything looks better (cool) than that factory plastic side scoop.

Yea I know, he might loose a couple horses in the procedure, but it will look a lot better!!

KC, if its not to late, forgive Keef, he like's to pick on others to throw off his second personality into thinking every thing is really O.K. hehe (Joke Keef, Joke, I relly was talking about Dennis).

KC, have you bought the Charger yet?

Thanks S1, I have indeed purchased the charger and got the information I needed by a more gracious group. I have to agree that anything looks better than the stock box, and I got such a good deal on it I couldn't pass it up. In addition not all of us ride the same. I really don't care how much horse my bike has or how fast I can go. Some of the best rides I've been on were at cruising speed with a good group of guys. (Honda, Harleys, BMW) whatever. I'm not a Buell snob. Obviously I love Buells, but anybody on 2 wheels is OK with me. My views are my views and are right for me, but I can respect others views even if they differ.

Last time I was at Gails all they had were the new $80 grips.

Yes.

Buell demo rides and Harley demo rides. BRAG does Buell and HOG does Harley.

Helpers have three time periods to volunteer for... morning, afternoon or all day,

There are those that will ride to lead and follow on the demo rides, and helpers needed at the registration table to get releases signed and to check for a motorcycle endorsement on the drivers license.

Question answered???

Hey Larry, most Buell riders care about every HP they can get.The stock airbox looks kinda ugly but as far as dyno numbers go,it actually works great, lots more went into the design than it looks. The hyperchargers look kinda neat, but hurt the performance of the bike, this information is all in the archives of this site.If your not interested in HP or performance loss, its a great trinket to add to your Buell. As you see more Buells out and about,I'm talking about the tubers, you probably wont see a hypercharger on any other bike,so yours will be unique in that way.
