It seems every opportunity I get, I have to mod something and or alter its appearance. An addiction? I dunno...

You're running stock rotors and you're worrying about an addiction situation?

I think not.

One the other hand, your certainly have made yourself one extremely sweet bicycle, no question about that!

I am sure everyone shares with me an awesome anticipation at seeing the final product.

Am I right, my brothers?

PS: The exhaust pipe is totally insane, for sure!

The brakes definately need attention and I'm leaning towards a Buell wheel/brake set-up.
Thanks!

It's a very common malady.

I have spent more money on my bike since I bought it, than the original purchase price.

It's not fatal, as long as you don't neglect your family to buy billet parts.

The floating rotors help a lot.

I couldn't see if you have the Harley adjustable forks, but even if you do, (as I have on my Harley FXDX), you might as well go for an entire Buell front end, as fitting a Buell wheel to Harley forks can be a problem due to axle size and the unusual brake caliper mount.

Probably easier to fit the Buell forks to the Harley frame than the Buell wheel to Harley forks. Of course I have not done either yet.

I am dreaming of fitting a Ulysses front end to my FXDX, so far I have gotten as far as the Buell fender.

The Buell (Showa), inverted fork is miles ahead of the even the Harley adjustables. Of course the normal Sporty forks, have really no damping in them at all, and are not suitable for the kind of sport riding for which your bike was obviously built.

I used to talk about that last mod/part, I've come to realize that there is always one more mod or part you want to do.
And it only gets worse if you have multiple bikes in the garage.... You have the fever, you have it bad, the cure is to go ride and plan that next part ; )
Nasty lil hooligan there.
