First, what are your settings on the TFI?

My first guess is that you fouled the plugs.

That was happening to me. I kept fouling out the front plug. I still dont' know what is wrong with it. The bike won't stay on when you don't give it gas. It is in the shop right now, I think it has something to do with the fuel injector. I will keep you posted when the dealership lets me know what is wrong with it.

But make sure you check your plugs.

Lazyme - That sounds like maybe an idle that is set to low...

All_me - Settings? Did you do the install? If so, did you re-attach the O2 and the IAT? When I installed my TFI I forgot the IAT and it threw a code real quick. When I put on the force pipe I forgot the O2 and the same thing happened...

The 1045ST shouldn't trip a light at all. If it is, then the fourth pot is set too high or too low. It should be at seven on the 1045ST (the only model anyone should sell you for a Buell...).

Heh heh -

That's a loaded question...

I have the old version, and yes, I had quite a bit of trouble tuning it in. I think most of my troubles stem from the fact that I have a stock ECM. On the twelve, the stock ECM controls the valve in the exhaust. I left the controller installed so the ECM still thinks it's there. It seems to have trouble when the ECM thinks the valve is in the actuated position, and of course, it's not. I have "mostly" tuned around it, but I'm in search mode for a good deal on a race ECM for a 12.

Made in 02 eh? Isn't that before the XB came out? Is that an X1 chip of some sort? Just curious.

In any case, If you don't have the newer Techlusion, I would start there. Seems like you are on the right track.

When you purchased your new Force, did you tell them it was for the XB?

I'm about to call the BBB on Force.
