how hard is it to adjust the suspension settings on the 12's to suit your weight?is it something you can do yourself or a shop thing?2 MORE DAYS,JUST 2 MORE DAYS!!THIS IS WORSE THAN WAITING FOR CHRISTMAS WHEN I WAS A KID!!! |

VERY EASY!!! As long as you have your owners manual. The first few times I rode mine, It beat the HE!! outa' me. The rear was set properly for my weight(@165), but the front was set for a 200lb rider. 5 mins. alone with the owners manual and a screwdriver, and it was just about perfect! (that sounds kinda' bad, huh) tank (p.s. the hardest part was finding a wrench/socket to fit the front preload adjusters on top of the fork. I used a socket, but others have had success w/a large adjustable wrench. Socket size is 7/8". (Message edited by tank_bueller on February 20, 2005) |
