Can I get some input on the comfort of these seats?

I'd be curious to know how it compares to the Corbin and if the Corbin is worth the extra $100 for the Corbin compared to the Buell aftermarket.

Troll,
I had one on my bike and I really liked it on long rides, It is wider in the crotch area. If you want a good used one I have one for sale.

put one on 3k ago...what a wonderful difference...raises your height by maybe an inch off the ground. leaves you room to move around to avoid stiffness..dont know how it compares to the corbin, but the extra $100 in your pocket is always nice 2

personally i recommend the corbin, which approaches perfection. after a fifteen hundred mile weekend a hundred bucks or so ain't gonna matter.

If you can get to a bike show, Corbin has reps. at all the bigger ones, you'll save 10%, pay no tax, shipping is $20 with a three week delivery time. You get to pick your materials and the sales guy takes your weight and height. Making it truly a custom seat. The 10% I saved more than covered the price to get into the show. With the new lower prices it really is deal. $30, maybe $40 more than the vinyl streetfighter.

We do sell them, a LOT of them. And we get them built customer per the riders preferences, just like described above.

You can buy them direct from Corbin, or you can buy them from us. When everything goes right, it will all be the same. When something goes wrong, I can get the issues straitened out a little easier than individuals might have trying to get the issue taken care of. I've heard of bad experiences with Corbin's customer service, but we don't have that problem, Corbin bends over to keep us happy.

I don't have personal experience with the Firebolt seat, but I'm a big fan of the Corbin XB-S seat (with the American Sport Bike rear profile, see here for what I mean by that. The XB-S seat, with a minor trim on the rear bumpers, fits much better than the stock seat and is a lot more comfy than either the stock or streetfighter seat.

I'm not a big fan of the Corbin S3 seat, but the S1 corbin is mandatory, IMHO. I haven't put any seat time in on an X1, M2, or S2 Corbin seat to have a meaningful opinion.

Al

Lets say you are going to order a corbin is it in your best interest to do in over the phone or the computer as far as them making the seat for your height and weight. Jake

I'd just give them a call and they can ask and answer any questions, or just call Al, you won't lose either way.
