I have one on order, but seems to be taking FOREVER to the tune of more than 5 months. And they are NOT cheap. I have been waiting since September. And with exchange rate and shipping from the UK almost 400.00 but I think on my XB9slR I think it will look great.

Take a look at Bikescreen.com. I purchased my dark blue windscreen from there. Looks awesome. They have windscreens similar to zero gravity.

Look at American Sportbike in the sponsor section. They just finished a carbon fibre one that should be available really soon.

This is my first post here, so hello!

Anyway, thanks for the info in this thread. I've been looking for a windscreen for my Buell for months and haven't had any luck. I'm trying to outfit my Buell for Iron-Butt style endurance riding, and wind protection is absolutely essential.

Not much riding going on right now, though. My bike is sitting right outside my living room window with a good all-weather bike cover on it, and there's been so much snow in the last couple of days that it looks like a motorcycle-shaped igloo.

Sigh..

Kathy,
You should roll it into the living room so it won't look so neglected. What model of Buell is it?
Welcome,
DBird

Its a 2003 XB9S and I've had it since last June. I only got to ride it for four months before the snow closed in, but managed to squeek out around 3500 miles so far. I've been able to take some short rides on it here and there this winter, but not anything close to the sort of riding I like.

Luckily, I'm moving to Texas this summer, which means all-year-round riding, finally.}

bikrgrrl, You can always make your own fairing. Mine was easy and really inexpensive. It's works really well. See the photo in my profile or the thread entitled "brainstorm".

Rubberdown - you built that yourself? Very impressive. I think I've got the same luggage rack as you, too - it's been interesting outfitting the Buell for touring and endurance riding, but it can be done..

Dave, Stewart at Bitz4Buells had me contact Jens at Hillybilly, they are getting JP Graphics to put a rush on my windscreen, as mentioned before, once I have it I will shoot you a picture in case you may want to carry them.

Yeah, I was wanting to know about those too.

All the sites that I've looked at those on kept saying "Coming Soon", so I let it be.

I wanted to get the one that doesn't wrap the lights. Closer to looking factory.

Let us know what's up Dave. If you manage to get them, I'll be a sure sale.

Rich
