Arrghh, this was supposed to be titled "Chroming XB wheels". I dont't know WTF is going on with "surviving the commute" However, it was 30 when I left the house on the XB this a.m. and I did survive.

It was in the low 60's and raining this morning in the LA area. I survived it but everything (bike & gear) is filthy. Oh Well.

Hey Rubberdown, if you get serious about it, let me know. The guy that owns Southeast Cycles in Fayettnam' might be the person you want to talk to. I didn't email those addresses we talked about, race tires= different tread pattern, no good in the rain!!

rubberdown, I've had this system use a previous post title on me before. I fixed it by going into my "password manager" and deleting all but one listing for Badweb (for some reason, it keeps adding one, so there are usually at least two...).
