Are there some people on the board in the Chicagoland area? I live in the west suburbs, and the only people to ride with around here are on Japanese sportbikes. I used to have a Yamaha, so I like to ride with them but I would like to see a few more Buells in the mix. Let me know.

Hey, please look into the local BRAG chapter. <http://windycitybrag.com/> there are quite a few of us around. The club meets in Berwyn, not too far from you. Contact me if you like. I can fill you in. Judging by your avatar, I might not ride with the same intensity.

Chicagoland is actually a pretty good place for Buells
You have a great dealer(thanks Sam and Illinois Harley) in Berwyn, that actually stocks parts, one of the largest BRAG chapters around(i think were over 30 or 40 members)
Some very well versed Buell owners, even chicagolandsportbike.com members(Illinois Harley is actually a sponsor of that site)
There a great group of riders, that are pretty cool
Some added items to consider are, the dealer has brought in the head guy from Dyno jey Dynos, Brian Nallin from Revo along with his dirt track and road race bike(one of the owners is part sponsor) some dirt track names when there in town, we have had dyno days, 1/2 price base run, 1 BIG motorcycle show/dyno shoot out a year, 10% off all purchases for BRAG members, and the list goes on and on
You also have the option of heading north to BElle city, Ukes, Hals, Brew City, but all of those are a little ways off, but very doable
Best bet might be to stop by a meeting(there always the first thursday of the month at IL harley 7pm, next one is March 3rd) see what goes on, talk to some people, but please realize that its kinda slow in the winter, and picks up as the season goes by
If you stop by just ask for me Roger, i am usually at the meeting, and i would be happy to introduce you around
Even better consider going to the storm fronts section, look for windy city Brag, type high and let thm know your around
Later
R

Thanks for the help guys. I posted over in the storm fronts section. As for the riding intensity, to each his own. I'm usually not the most wild guy around, but I'm also not the guy hanging out in the back of the group. I started riding dirt bikes as a little kid, so I like to do more than just ride around the city on both wheels.
