I just wanted to know how the Touring Pillion was for two up riding. Anybody that has been doing a lot of two up riding please let me know how the Firebolts are? I have a 04 12R if that helps. I have heard that the 04 and up models have lower passenger pegs than the 03 models. My GF is about 5'5" tall and I am worried she won't to ride much with me. LOL. IF she doesn't then I will just have to put the seat cowl back on and the leathers and find some twisties. LOL Brupska |

I have the touring pillion. MY wife and kids both say it's much more comfortable than the stock pillion. The longest ride I have taken them on is maybe 40 miles. |

I have one, my wife really likes it. We haven't done any real road trips on it, but we did do a ~200 mile day to VIR and back. At the end of the ride her only complaint was being cold. We've done short rides with the stock seat and she usually ends up wishing she had the touring pillion on, so the seat is a definite improvement. I've found the Firebolt is actually pretty good for two up considering it's a dedicated sport bike. Most sportbikes put the passenger seat much higher than the rider's seat causing the passneger to lean over a lot to hang on to the rider. The Firebolt doesn't do this as much as other sportbikes. It makes a *huge* difference. My GF will go on 150+ mile trips now whereas before she was griping after less than 100. Get it. She'll be much happier. -Geof |

Thanks for the input. Daves I am planning on getting one as soon as I get my new decals on the bike. I am getting some custom ones done here at my local graphics shop. I also want to check on ordering a Race kit from you Daves. I just want to check and see if my local dealer will honor the warranty if I put it on myself. The race kit that is. Iwill post come pics of the 12r when I get it done this week. Thanks all Brupska |
