ok, for a first post this should be interesting. first off, have found some very useful info on badweb so thanks alot guys. now i was hoping that maybe someone out there has heard of anyone making a lowering kit for my xb9. with all the mods that are in the plans i am going to have a big problem keeping the front end down even worse than i already do. if not i can do it myself, but would rather not have to go through the trial and error since we are trying to get alot done before daytona. also looking for a streached swingarm (i know i know, not going to help me in the corners much but this IS iowa, more flat and straight then corners) still have to paint, put on nos, do intake and exhaust, and finish 3 more bikes besides mine. times running short, but makes life that much more interesting, lol

im not sure that they have a lowering kit for them however if u could find the shocks for a xb9sl or xb12scg they are a bit lower than it is currently. and there is pictures of a modded out xb9r that has a streched swing arm running around this board but i think it was built by the person that owns the bike.

I know I've seen a 3 inch stretch swing arm, but it was part of a chain conversion.

It's easy, order both fork legs, rear shock assembly, seat, and sidestand for a 2003 XB9SL. A couple of hours and you're done, and it's perfect, not RIGGED. XB12SCG parts (forks) don't work for your application.

we have already done this swap from a XB9R and a XB9SL, All photos and such are in the archives. It turned out great and the lowered 9 handles quite well.
