Hello all. Mikethebike72 here. Have 04 XB12R with 11,000 miles. I have just broke a belt and wanted feedback on it. How common it is and all. Bike only has full race kit. And very rarely have been wheelied, seriously. As MSF Ridercoach, had to sign paper saying I would ride safe, boy that is hard. Bike has had rear tire changed twice. Any info would help.

Not that uncommon, and that's a shame. There are people on this board that have gone a lot further than that though. More common on the '03 models.

Well, so long as you have the stone gaurds on the belt will be under warrenty. It's possible when whoever did you tired change they twisted the belt a bit.
