I gave Z6's plenty of hard riding on my Cyclone with no problem, so it's not a universal problem with the tire. | ||

I am just the messenger. Seeing a tire like that after all the years working for Goodyear, its something to be aware of. Without actually having the tire in hand to inspect and look for tell tale signs its real hard to say whether it was defective or OVER inflation. From the looks of the pics, that cord is out of the center and not one of the sides. Had it been from under inflation, it would have been much more off center if it was caused by the heat in under inflation melting the inner liner. It could simply be a bad batch as well. I just felt it was worth making people aware of the issue and the fact that Metzler had been pointed online to the problem and the thread with no response, good bad nor indifferent. |
