Page 90 of the March Cycle World has an article focusing on the Buell Formula Extreme effort. Definitely worth checking out. |

I found a couple of very interesting points in the article. 1. Buells are carrying higher cornering speeds than the factory 600's. 2. How stock the racebikes are. Speaks well for the basic design. Good luck Erik, I hope you win Daytona. Mike |

Anyone notice how wide the clip-ons are on that bike. It was nice to read that many of the stock XB engine parts were used, especially since the engine is punched out to 1350cc. |

If Buell could pull a 4th or 5th place at Daytona I'd be jumping for joy. That would speak worlds for us. |

"Anyone notice how wide the clip-ons are on that bike." I did. I have Crossroads "clip-ons" on my XB9S. When I trade rides with someone who has the "R" version, I am amazed at how much heavier the "R" version feels. So I have to wonder, is it for increased leverage or so the rider's arms miss the air box intake ducts?
