I've recently noticed that my brakes seem a bit squishy(on my 04' XB12R). I took my roommate's r6 out for a bit the other day and noticed his feel a lot sharper and reassuring. Any of your guys get this feeling?

Yup; you'd need to bleed the brake. My XB had the same problem comparing to my F4i. After bleeding the brake, all is well.

How many miles do you have on your bike?

Dot 4 or Dot 5.1 (NOT Dot 5!!) Dot 4 is cheaper.
