The Jardine arrived today from the states, all safe and sound. Customs got it in the UK and added another $50 to the price, nasty.

Anyway, got my race technician to have a look over it, she gave it a real good inspection.
Inspect
Hmmm, looks OK so far...
OK
Yep, that's fine boss, let's fit it!

Your tech has some serious advantages, small hands, perfect height, fit in all those tight spaces.

Nick, what did the Jardine cost you in total, if I may ask? I am just wondering if it was cheaper to import from the States than it is to buy one here.

Did you also buy the 'quiet insert'?

It was a fair bit cheaper, even with the nasty customs. About £190 all in (inc delivery and vat). From a-z_powersellers@sbcglobal.net.

Hi Rigga.. I'd be interested to hear your Jardine sometime.. I wonder if its as loud as my Tubber?
Wish I had a 'quiet insert' for those early morning starts

steve......from memory its prob not far off your modded pipe, the jardine is louder for sure compared to the buell race pipe,iv not had the chance to ride it yet,but from running it in the garage it has a deeper base tone at idle, and sounds kinda harsh when revved, hard to explain without a soundclip,i did a video of it earlier on but its 10mb,and the confines of the garage dnt really show it up too well, too much reverbaration of the walls i think.ill have to do a much smaller video outside this weekend,or video it on the dyno when it all gets set up
