Looking at changing the bars on my 12S for a Renthal replacement. So what type have you guys got? Anyone using the Renthal streetfighter bar?

Thanks E

I didn't spend the money for Renthals, but went with steel O'Neal CR250 bend motocross bars. Lower, wider, and less rake. Very comfortable and cheap at $19.95 to try. I figured if I didn't like them I could always swap them back out!

My XB9S has Renthal high street bars fitted. I like 'em, they fit me perfectly.
They're uncomfortable above 85/90mph for more than short periods, but that's ok Pic1Pic2

Will, i asked you about those Azonics in the past but forgot to ask you if you removed the crossbar? Seems the Azonic's that I found on the CycleGear site have the crossbar. Those look killer. Wish they came in black though

I second the Moose bars. I wanted to have the cross bar. Available in multiple colors, and sizes.

What is the model number for the Renthal high Street bar? Did you have problems with control cable/hose lengths? I have tried some other MX bars but the cables were too short. Al @ Am Sport Bikes thought I was crazy to want a higher bar!
Thanks,
DBird

Thanks for input guys.
Dana, Craig that style of bar is what i'm after but in the UK Renthal are easier to source. Any idea of Moose dimensions so i can get a similar Renthal.

Thanks E

Steve_UK, I LOVE that extended rear hugger. I ordered one about a week ago. That pic makes me glad I did.

Check out AFAM bars. I like the High Dirt Track bend, but they have a lot more to choose from.

I went with the KX bend.
I was originally looking at Renthals also, but could not find the size I wanted in black.

DBird29..
The 'bars are the Renthal Road Bike High, no. 756-01. You can compare different sizes on this page, about half-way down...

The previous owner of my bike had fitted the 'bars, and he tells me there were no problems with cable and hose lengths
