I've got a black tank with the translucent gold lettering. I was thinking of replacing it with either the silver or black if it is available.

Pcmodeler: what color did you go with? if you went black on black i'd love to see a pic when you get the install finished. i love subtle design like that, especially with branding elements.

Black wasn't available so I went with silver. By the time I'm done, there won't be much silver on the bike either. I'm in the middle of polishing a spare swing arm right now. Next winter I'll do the frame. That will leave the engine area in silver, as I plan on having the rims powder coated black when I get them removed to have the bearings replaced and the swing arm installed.
