Hi guys, Has anyone done this conversion yet? I'm only really interested in changing the front fairing and was wondering if the 9r handlebar arrangement fits in with the 9s stuff as it looks a lot closer to the triple tree than the 9r fairing. | ||

The 9S stuff is fixed to the bars, so it doesn't really matter too much. You may have to clear some stuff out. There is one big issue, and that's the relocation of the electronics... On the 'S' it is under the seat... | ||

Brian he has the R and wants to go to an S front, which is the opposite of what I did  TT is correct about the electrics. There just isn't room under the flyscreen for the electrics and the ECM on the S front. | ||

Yeah ok, I didn't think about the electrics and ECM. Thanks for letting me know. Hmm, looks like a bit more investigation is required. Or I could just go and buy a City-X, although, I've put over 35,000 on the XB already and she's still running sweet. |
