I just wanted to ask you a little about converting my S to a R model. How do you ship parts and a what rate is shipping? Can I call you to order the complete parts list to convert my black 9S to a 9R? I am pretty fed up with the Buell service around me. My local HD dealer will not touch Buells or order parts and the dealer I purchased my 9S from has changed people in the service dept. I don't want to drive 60 miles to get treated bad anymore. LOL. I'm pretty sure Dave can get/list/name off/pack n ship EVERY single piece you will need and more than likely can talk you through the whole damn process step by step he truley is THE MAN. LOTS of people have done that swap bcuz the R butt just plain looks sexier. =) Good luck and make sure u post pics. | ||

I am doing this over the winter because of track days and the amount I ride the bike. With 9S on track days are fun but would like to get out of the wind on the 130+ mph front straight runs. I would also like the more aggressive rideing poss. I wish I would have got the R to begin with. I will post pics as I tear it down and put it back together if anyone wants me to. brupska | ||

Hey Daves, Can I call you on later. I have to work until 3:30 and they frown on me using my cell phone unless it is a emergency. I will probably order the parts sometime in January after I recover from Xmas shopping for the kids. LOL. I am just trying to get as much info as I can, so I can save for the project.
