I had my bike repaired under warranty, they had to pull engine and split the cases,I have a leak coming from the shift shaft, and my oil lines have spots that are rubbed through under the engine.my factory warranty is up,i think they should replace from the original work or should I have to use my extended warranty.i know they may have been like that, but shouldn't they have changed them then,if they weren't then something they did would have caused it

If it were me, I would approach the service manager at the dealership where the repair was made and ask him to take a look at those items and ask him in his opinion if they might be related to the prior repair. Calmly put in those terms it would seem likely to have him make a rational decision as opposed to a yes or no answer.

I plan on doing it calmly,I just feel there is a reason the hoses have rubbed through the braiding.Fullpower,I had a problem with the tranny, don't want to name the dealer, because it might be taken the wrong way, have not been to bad so far

There are supposed to be two clamps on the braided lines where they pass between
the bottom of the engine and the top of the muffler.
If those are missing, then it could be a dealer oversight that led to the line failure. Mike.
