Admittedly I'm not too good with computers, so need a little help. Will a low seat from a 2003 XB12 fit on a 2009 XB12XT? I searched but can't tell if frames are different. Thanks for any input.

No. The Ulysses models have their own seats. All years and variants of the Ulysses seats are compatible with your bike, but Firebolt or Lightning seats will not fit.

I bought a damaged seat on e-bay to fit a Lightning . Cut the front hook off and made up another , added an aluminum plate to mount the locking hook and made up some bumpers . It is about an inch lower and hard as a board . This was just an experiment to see if it would work and is not finished but it can be done. }
