And who says we're dissing who rides it? I just think it's a shame to take such a great handling bike and turn it into a car. There are far better, and quite possibly less expensive, candidates for that job. | ||

Now what If Ted K wanted to ride? And he wanted a Buell would you bust his chops if he did that to a Buell? Hell If I lost A leg I know I would want to still sport a Buell. Dissin someones ride is just as bad as dissin them. I am very opposed to choping Buells up to make choppers, etc. but if it get's some one who likes Buells, to ride if they can't ride a two wheeler anymore then more power to them. | ||

I fail to see how that's any different. They could make a chopper out of anything, and choose to make it out of a Buell. Ted, or you, or anyone else for that matter could attach a sidecar or make a trike from anything, but may choose to make it from a Buell. Both are choices, and we can all have our opinions about each. | ||

I think that is cool! When I was in Germany I had a friend that bought a new Road King and instantly put a sidecar on it that matched the paint and everything. He took his two little girls everywhere with him and they loved it. Good way to keep the family involved if you want to ....Odie | ||

HMMMMMM gee i wonder were the term CHOPPER came from. CHOP....CHOP......CHOP....CHOP. P.S. I have a co-worker friend that is parilized from the sack down and is in the middle of rebuilding a 1000cc bike to convert it to a sidecar and you can bet that if he had the chance or money he would do the same to a sport bike, Buell or no Buell. | ||

For a sidecar I think this is the best thing I have seen. It looks amazingly neat with a great eye for detail. Much attention has gone into it and the guys who made seem to me to be true craftsmen that know their job. I'm kinda amazed that nobody is mentioning anything about the front suspension and wheel construction. Is it like BMW's? Or the sidecar frame that is wrapping around the buell for whatever reason. I can't help but wonder ... So can we quit being overly sensitive and get back on topic? Is the weather bothering you guys or what? PEACE. Ingemar. | ||

Here's a question why does anyone ride a "BUELL"? a)Is it to be different in every sense. b)To support the the name "BUELL". c)American made V-Twin. d)Great deal on an awesome bike. e)Maybe the mechanical structure of the bike fit perfectly to the sidecar. To take his handicapped kids or wife around. f) OK... Power and handling. Bottom line the person IS riding a BUELL and sporttin'the BUELL name. I know for myself, I try to look past at my dislikes and look at the mechanical creativity this guy had to make something functional for himself (individualize). Now would I do this to my BABY? Not a chance. Thanks for reading MY $0.02 worth. | ||

I like it:-). You young Buelligans probably don't know too much about the glorious side car tradition in England and the Continent. Racing sidecars were a popular feature of Gran Prix and short course racing in the 60's and 70's and they were based on the top sporting machines of the day such as Manx Norton, Matchless G50 and especially Rennsport BMW's. They were also much loved as sporting and utility machines on the road, especially after the War, only to lose market to prosperity and advanced economy cars. Many a romance blossomed as a result of the comraderie developed in a vintage "outfit". This is a particularly attractive and well engineered model with a rather interesting hub steering front end. I would like to know more about it. Having a Buell foundation only makes it more appealing. | ||

Hi, the Sidecar is made by Sauer a well known german Company. They also builded the V-Rod what was seen beginning of the year in Daytona. The "Stormracer" sidecar is, like you see on the pictures a multiuse construction. Including a touring kit with seat etc. and after slipping down the rearbox you get a flat real racer piece. I have seen this Buell sidecar on the Nuerburgring racetrack with an engaged passenger. Well boys, the most of us will **** their pants working in that construction. A Buell sidecar is unusual, of course, but the construction is brilliant made and have my full respect. Twins for sidecars standing in a big tradition, Gentjon is 100% right.
