Just checked the Buell web site and noticed that the regular XB9S is missing from the 2005 lineup. The only S-models are the XB12S and the CityX. Also the XB9R is now the same price of the CityX. ($8,695 msrp) That’s great news for those looking at the 9R but it looks like the only option for those wanting an S is the XB9SX. Even thou it doesn't effect me in the slightest (I already own a sweet XB9SX) I don't think I like this decision to limit a potential buyers choices. Hard as it may be to believe, not everyone likes the look of the CityX, and the 12 can be a little much for some newer riders. Am I alone on this? |

it has been discussed before but i think it was due to the fact that the 9 didnt do so hot since the 12 came out. if some one wanted a 05 9s that bad they could always buy a sx and buy the plastic for a 12. or find a used 03 or 04 |

9s sold just fine even after the 12s came out. There's just no point in having two bikes that alike in the lineup. ...and they could probably still find a new '04 without looking all that hard. |
