Henrik, you actually think I would miss that trip for anything? I'm from Michigan so it would be great to see a ton of snow and get up in the Great White North again and hang with the "Hosers". Besides, I couldn't let her get a vacation and me stay here with the kids!!!! That is a super good deal DaveS has. I think they may keep him around just to see what he does on his second anniversary!!! Odie

Dave, You are tempting me..... My wife would hang my @ss! 3 bikes in 2 years would be pressing my luck..... but then it IS an '05...

A man has an unalienable right to one bike per year doesn't he? After all this IS America!

Dave, you are tempting ME!

And, I think I have a great idea for the t-shirt. Do you recall the giant "Pardon my enthusiasm, I just want to sell you a Buell" buttons? I have one buried somewhere.

I have a mental image of you in a cheap suit, with a cigar in your mouth, the button on your jacket, a pen in one hand and a pitcher of kool-aid in the other.

This'll be big....very big. In fact, I have some ideas that would be fun to do on the tour. If you want to add the "barn side trip" let me know...heck, we could do a barn..quonset hut...woodcrafters loop!

Too mucho cool!

Court,
The barn trip would definitely add to the experience. It was VERY cool when Henry took us through there two summers ago.

Dave,
This may get bigger than you think. And I'll crunch some numbers, but a blue XB12R may be in my future...

Ftd,
By April it's nice enough to ride out of here.
Head south, turn left, it's easy!
Or, you and Steve could get the 1000.00 in gas money and come pick up a pair in a trailer.

GEEEeeeeeezzzzzzz Dave. I was trying to guess at what you were gonna offer-I was thinking maybe you would offer for us to meet Erik, but ALL OF THIS? Tuff call for me man. On one hand that would be the COOLEST way to buy a bike EVER on the other hand I'm all the way down in Houston...and we have a lot of good riding weather here until April! Plus I've still gotta sell my Wide Glide! Who knows though-it might work out.

Hellion's never really on the XBoard, she just popped in after I told her about the deal so I'll answer for her. A friend of ours called me a couple of weeks ago saying he was looking to sell. Once we started talking price, there was no way we could pass it up.

that would be cool to let others get involved in the rides...it could be seen as a "welcome to the family" for the new Buellers...

>>>>Court - I have a trailer

I see you don't know me well. To quote Erik Buell, standing behind the factory with Fran Crane, Henry Duga and I one day....."if either of these two asks you to ride to lunch ask WHERE"

That was shortly after Fran rode from San Francisco to Lousiana to have Crayfish for lunch.

God rest her soul......

Court (who spent many 973 mile rides racing an X-1 to and from from East Troy to Gotham shortly after leaving Orange, VA and heading straight to San Diego to meet Erik for the intro of the S-1 and then racing back accross the country)

Great deal Dave! Maybe when the sport-tourer is released I'll sell the Road Glide.
Hey the idea of other Buellers joinin in would be way cool, another 20th, and to meet other Buell owners. Comon work somethin up, maybe a oil change, minor maintenance while we go thru the seminar? Day earlier tire special? Do it Dave!
