We have been approached by a UK company who is wanting to manufacture a Power Commander type adjustment unit specifically for the XB Buells. Unlike the Techlusion unit it will be able to add or subtract fuel.
They are heavily involved in drag racing and have made similar units for most Jap drag race engines over here, so they know their stuff.

The only problem will be that they will need at least 30 orders from us before they go ahead. Price will be the deciding factor in the end, but we are just wondering who would be interested?

I'd be interested, especially if the price is decent.

What do they charge for their similar Jap units?

Didn't someone say that the buell ecu reprograms itself to make the pcIII irrelevent and in need to be reset every once in a while. How will this be any different.
It's the same question I have for the techlusion box. But I would be down if it is something that I don't have to restet all the time. Especially over the TFi because I can reduce some midrange fuel.

I remember Dobeck/Techlusion mentioned they never had a situation in which they needed to substract fuel. I've seen the A/F ratios and know it's rich, but won't substracting fuel there hurt the midrange?

I mean, the stock ecm has less fuel there than the race ecm and you see the torque curve go down too, right?

you may want to wait for this package to come out. Seems like a decent way to go.
