I wonder what kind of modifications this guy has to his bike. I need to work on my stunt riding, but I gotta get over the fear of wrecking my bike.

Race kit, sliders, and a twelve o' clock bar, is about it.

Remove all rear brake system inc rear disc
Remove passenger pegs
Remove passenger seat
Remove all indicators
Remove rear view mirrors
Replace clip-on handle bars with motocross type bars
Load front fairing area with approx 30 kg of lead ballast weight

that was off of his site and thats what was done to the bike that he broke the stopie record with

Craig no long has the stoppie record. It was beat by a stock gsxr 750. The buell are very easy to stunt. My cbr929 is considered one of the best stunt bikes out there but i think my buell balances better once its up. It doesnt come up as quick but it is more steady and just feels better. Removing the mirrors is so your legs wont get caught when you do a highchair (sitting over the front end). Another trick we use is grip tape on the gas tank, others dent it in but tape looks better. Im trying not to stunt the buell becuase i love the bike too much dont wanna hurt it and if you do try stunts you will crash. Ask any of us who do it. My cbr was looped out and flipped seven time while practicing. Thats why 2 bikes are nice : )

Its called a 12 o'clock bar.

Most stunt bikes will have one, its so you can go up and touch it or slide the bike while in a wheelie.
