Hi Guys, New user aboard ! I live out here in cali so my bike(05 cityx) came with all the emissions crap on it. Damn thing cant breath! Anyway I want to remove the bulky canister. Any advice ??

Just remove the canister and route the vent hose down to the inside of the left rider footpeg bracket (don't plug it!).

S models look better without it (imho).
But you will not make a bit of difference in how it runs tho.
Unless you overfill the gas tank that is!

Yeah, don't plug it, but there is a line that runs to a fitting on the throttle body that needs to be plugged. It's a vacuum line that returns vapor to the intake. If you simply pull out the canister, you'll essentially have a vacuum leak there. I'm with you! I don't like the awkward looking canister hanging there. I'm sure glad that the vibration caused mine to fall off long ago...

"all the emissions crap on it" uhhh, you may shed several ounces of unneeded charcoal, but it wont make your bike run any different.
