My Uly's been vibrating lately. Now, I know "they all do that", but it used to smooth out above 3000. Not any more. So I replaced the front isolator and sure enough it had a few cracks. But that doesn't seem to have done anything . If anything, she's vibrating even worse. So, what would you guys recommend I check next?

2009 Uly, all stock except EBR ecm. Thanks in advance.

Thicker underwear?

I'll say I'm pretty sensitive to NVH changes and will become 'aware' of things like that on the STT on occasion (usually in the middle of nowhere), but either it's gonna blow apart or it's not...

If the heavy spinny stuff have an issue that big, you'll know once the inside parts become outside parts and it won't take long. Other than the new isolator that you put on, there isn't much else to do. Check your header bolts?

IMO Just ride it.

Check the "tie bars" for binding.

Yep, muffler straps and header.nuts intact and tight. Torqued front isolator bolts and no motion there. Rear isolator looks right : no cracks visible from outside the bike. Any other suggestions?

Natexlh1000, you may win the prize this time!👏👍😁

Except you got it backwards. The primary has a tight spot in it; it was too tight! I imagine I was insufficiently diligent last time I adjusted it, I rotated the engine past that tight spot and adjusted to the next tightest spot. I guess I have to be more careful.

I only went for a 12 mile ride after readjusting. Seems smoother but I reserve my judgement until I can do a proper highway ride.

Thanks everyone for you leads. (Well, except for you Mr Tight Undies)😜

I'll know better when I can go for a longer ride. Won't be home for a couple week so stay tuned.

I had my 2009 engine replaced for that exact reason. They tore the bike apart 3 times installing front and rear isolators. Still had the vibration. The dealer talked them into sending a new engine. No vibrations after that.
