hi guys new to forum and Buells
recently acquired a 06' uly with 38k on it for a great price , about 6 months ago I charged the battery and installed it ,n started and ran great everytime I started it , just in the last 2 weeks the battery got flat enough not to start the bike so I recharged it and reinstalled it , now when I turn the key on the E-fan runs and I have no warning lights or any sort of gauge boot up ive checked my fuses all are good , I'm good with tools and know my way around troubleshooting , does anyone have any thoughts before I start chasing rabbit holes ?
thanks, Robert

After charging what is the voltage across the battery?
What is voltage across the battery with the battery installed with the key off and then on?
Have the battery load tested.
Check the ground cable from the battery to the frame.

now when I turn the key on the E-fan runs

I do seem to recall that symptom resulting from a battery being installed backwards. If so, you may have fried the ECM, which would explain no lights/no gauges.

If everything is good, clean all of the grounds and apply an anti corrosive, I use a MC chain lube.

Aluminum is a great electrical conductor, unfortunately aluminum oxide is not. That's why the national electrical code only allows aluminum wiring in very specific applications in homes, and the connections have to be coated with a special compound to prevent oxidization. You can get it at home depot or Lowes, there are different name brands, It's all basically conductive grease. I used it on both my Bikes ground connections and I haven't had any problems since.
