That's what everyone I ask says about buells. I haven't found one person that has said a good thing about buells. I hear things like they have no power (the xb12 will be dusted by any 600 liter). Parts are cheap only because the bike is cheaply made, and they don't last long. As I said this is what I have been told, I am interested to hear what you guys have to say. I really like the xb12r but want to make sure they are good for the money. Thanks

everyone is going to tell you that if you want a 600 or a liter bike, then get one. they arent gonna justify the buell other than saying its different. you have to make your own choice.

I like my bike. am i bummed that it doesnt do over 135? ..... Kinda

should i be riding over 135? .... nope

If you want what everyone else has buy a jap bike. Let me start buy saying I'm not going to toot my own horn cause theres always someone faster but there is a lot more to riding than twisting the throttle and seeing how fast you can go in a strait line. My 8 year old can do that!!! 95% of the riders that I've ridden against in the mountains on RC51, GSXR1000, R1, Ducks, and many more I pass in the curves going in and coming out of then in the straights I see them coming, sometimes they pass but not for long. It's the abilty of the rider and what you can do with your bike. 28000 miles no problems, replaced belt at 26500 just cause I thought I should !!! I ride my bike hard and fast at times keeping in the high revs. A group of guys with mob racing ride R1's 954RR, FZR1000 they ride great and I'm proud to say I hang with them!! How much life do you get out of a chain? What the cost of sprokets? The time to grease and adjust the chain. Buells don't have that problem!! There have been some problems with some Buells. I can list also problems with Rc51's, trans problems with 929rr and 954rr, Anti-freez on R1's leaking, tripple clamps problems, wiring problems the list goes on. It happens no bike manf. has a perfect record. The Buell people and the Brag clubs are one of the best and I have had many bikes and been in clubs. The Bad web is great and all the people have such good character and set a new standard that some groups hope to follow.
