Hi all

I recently bought a 2008 Xb SS with the semi transparent orange plastics.

I want to switch to the Midnight Black plastics and I am currently looking for the black air box cover. The Firebolt and lightning have the some general features as far as , frame, angles, seat to tank, you get the idea.

Will a Firebolt air box cover fit a lightning?

Thanks for your time.

The plastics themselves are ALL interchangeable. With the later XB's and Firebolts the intake was modified to allow air to enter the front of the air box cover (ergo the small grillwork). With a little "careful creativity" the grill piece can be moved from cover to cover, but if yours has the grill then you should keep in place. Even the 1125 covers will fit, but as they do not have the grill, you must reuse yours.
