Does it have a torsion bar rear suspension?
How long before the chain cuts through the swingarm tube?
What's the other side look like?
Where did you find the pic?

Mike I would suspect there is a Delrin or other such rubbing block located at that point of the swingarm.

Yeah, there could be a little shoe block welded to the inside bend of the tube. Or like said it's a concept bike and the details will be worked out later.

Looking at it a little more, now I'm wondering how the front sprocket is connected to the tranny.

Not trying to rip on it, just curious.

my guess would be some sort of jackstaff arrangement, with the point being to get the drive sprocket in line with the swingoarm pivot --
me, I LIKE kickstarts!

Amazing how many people can't steal a kick only bike : D The first thing to go on all my vintage bikes was the electric starter. I figured if I couldn't get it to kick over, I had no business trying to ride.

How can it have a torsion bar suspension? If it had a t-bar there would be a bar sticking about 3 feet out the side of the bike. maybe you meant leaf spring.

Nope, I meant torsion bar as in the type some trailer axles use these days, or maybe it's one of those rubber ball torsion-appearing joints I'm thinking of. I don't know, it's a concept and I'm just curious how it works.

Possibly designed by an art student with no knowledge of motorcycle riding or engineering, the handlebar position is ridiculous

That's what Corbin does on the Merlin, put the engine sideways. Pretty cool little contraption, that Merlin is. But for around 25G's, I'll pass.

The downfall of a sideways V-Twin. Torque twist. Ridden a Beemer lately? (Or long ago as well)

I can't slam them though. Loads of character much like my BUELL.
