Who know's how to set one? what software do you need? Can I do it with my laptop? I just bought the race kit for my XB9s. or am I better installing the exhaust, filter and let the dealer set the TPS?

HELP!

Well, only the dealer or possibly the new technoresearch gadget can reset the TPS.

http://technoresearch.com/ offers a software package and cables for the Buell for $249.00 Anybody have any Idea what the typical Buell/HD dealer charges to set the TPS?

1/2 hours labor at my dealer ($44). Cheap really but I think they enjoy riding my bike cause everytime it goes there it seems to get a really thorough test ride. Jokes on them they're getting the yellow fuel light approach next time.

if you remove the battery do you have to get the TPS re-set again? or does it hold memory of the setting? it's at Wolverine being set right now, but I will converting the rear of my s to an r this weekend.

Tim, nah bunch of other stuff better left unsaid happened.

As to the battery you shouldn't need to. I had mine apart for a week without the battery in place and had no problem with the TPS at that time.
