Ok I have researched all over and cant figure a solid awnser.
How many different shocks came on XB and uly. And what legnths are they?

It's for the type of bikes!
SS stands for the XB long type
and the X for the Ulysses
STT is sort of the combination between the SS and the X
The S is the same as the R (lighting/firebold)

XB12SS is the Lightning Long
XB12STT is the Lightning TT Motardish thing
XB12X is the taller Ulysses
XB12S is the standard Lightning (which is the same shock as Firebolt and CityX)

The list is missing the XT (lower Ulysses), and SCG/SL (lower Lightning) models, I'll see if I can dig up those numbers.

Ok so this is what I have ( is there a difference between an XB9 and an XB12 in shocks?

STT - 14.25 inch ( xb lightning motard)
X - 15.0 inch (XB Uly) ( different post says 14 7/8)
SS - 13.625 inch (XB lightning long)
S and R - 14.0 inch (XB ligtning and firebolt)
Scg/Sc - ??
Xt - ??
