One would have to know your driving habits to answer the question. Closed Loop encompasses a sub-region within the entire throttle and RPM range. In this example picture (not mine), the closed loop region is located inside the blue polygon. There are other regions, such as closed loop idle, but open loop is basically outside of closed loop.  | ||

What you see in this graph is original outline for lack of a better word. Gunter took a log of mine, and changed the enclosed polygon to reflect where I really ride at. Made a difference on how bike runs at cruise. Of course in the land of 11 curves in 318 miles, that is truly as good as it gets. |
