I am getting a vibe in the pegs at around 2800-3000 that simply smoothes out and goes away around 3500 and up. Could that be the front isolator or is that just "Buell"? Can you tell just by looking at the isolator that it needs changing?

I get vibes in that same area and mine smooths out as well. I thought it was normal. Someone let us know if it is not. I figure that HD engines just want you to know that they are there.

I get a vibe between 2000-2500 rpms in the clipons and mirrors turn transparent. Nothing in the pegs. Above 2500 everything smooths out and there are no vibes at all.

Hey guys,
I was getting the same vibration thing happening ... Had the XB serviced and they told me the steering head was really loose .. now its been tightened .. no more vibes .. they told me that usually riding the bike on the rear wheel does it ... well coming down on the front too hard ... but thats just my lack of skill ..

And although im not that good at wheelies I was trying to improve my one wheel technique ..

just my 2 cents worth ..

Thanks for the input. I thought about the steering head, but it really seems more related to rpm. bike speed doesnt matter, it is just that transient area through those certain rpm.
I may look at the steering head just for the sake of it anyway!

Thanks again
