Man you guys you brought a tear to my eye..... but seriously thanks for the kind words. I'm going to print some of them out and take them up to him Tomorrow.

I had wanted to go up but not like this.

I'm thankful like you guys it wasn't worse.
It is the luck of the draw every time one of us comes close to that yellow line or the white one or hit a corner just a little too hot. Holding your breath and puckering doesn't always work, sometimes you get bruised.

Stealthxb- great pic!!! gotta luv people who don't like to get their picture taken and the funny faces they make.

You guys need to be careful up there or there won't be any of you left to ride with when I come up someday.......you know what keeps me sane when I'm riding; or doing anything risky for that matter (not that my job isn't very risky, but...) - I think about my wife and kids and what would happen if I got hurt and couldn't fly anymore or even worse, killed. Not to say I don't ride hard but......in the back of my head........ya'll take care please and get better quickly.....Odie

Sometimes I try to avoid these threads. It's nothing selfish, nor am I squeemish. Well ok I am, but that's not it either. More often than not I feel a little daft wishing fallen BadWeBers well. That's because in all the years we've been going it's like we've been blessed to have the fun motorcycles should give us, and not the hardships they can sometimes bring. Yes we've suffered terribly. JB1 was a massive shock to us all as was Andy Spiegel. Terribly terribly sad both, but hell have most the rest of us been lucky considering what a large group of people we are and the miles we amass between us.

So usually I don't get so wet by wishing well in these threads as most they concern end up with nothing more than something they walk away from and heal from.

Jeez dudes, two of you calls for an exception! My thoughts are with you guys. This is never nice to hear and I sincerely hope you and your loved ones aren't in to much pain.

Be careful out there.

Rocket

According to New12r

Updating on Shreds condition. Earlier today Glitch, A4TR, Sam, and I all took Shred to the ER for pain in his calf. Turns out he has a blood clot and will be in the hospital for the next few days.

Shred was taken to the hospital yesterday at noon with pain in his calf. He said it hurt worse than where the incision was or the rod. After 2 hours of waiting on a gerny(sp) in the hallway of the ER he notices his incision is bleeding and has bled through the bandages.
Finally about 2 hours later they get him into a observation area. We take the bandages off and notice that his incision is infected, while we are cleaning his leg I start to clean his knee and notice 6 staples in his knee NO ONE TOLD US ABOUT??? They look good but we have no idea why no one told us about them. They take him and do an ultrasound and determine he has a blood clot in his leg.

So now he is in the hospital for a min of 5 days. The Dr said that if he only had the blood clot issue he could go home and take blood thinners from home, but since he has the infection they need to watch him very close and may have to open the incision to let the infection drain.

The pain killers take the edge off but he is still in quite a bit of pain.

I just got home, to my house about 20 minutes ago after leaving Friday Morning with Glitch- Thanks so much Glitch & Gator FOR EVERYTHING YOU GUYS DID!!!
It was nice to meet those that I did when I was in Boone, Thanks for all the kind words and I'll let you guys know what's going on as I know and am near a computer.
