Okay hope I am putting this in the right spot. Got an opportunity to buy an 2008 xb9sx. This in the original owner he has done all the mods and has all stock parts has 11k on the bike jaridine exhaust and it has the programmer was told what one I guess there is only one for this year? Just going off what I was told by the owener(he did its for a sportster idk if that's sounds right looking for a little more info). He is asking 5k but I think I can get it for 4500 that's what I offered anyway. Is it a good deal and when I look at it anything that I need to look for? I am told it needs nothing and is ready for the ridding season. Will post pictures any and all info would help. Not sure how to list pictures from phone

Was this a track bike? Can't really see much reason for the steering damper unless it was on the track a lot. I have never felt the least amount of head shake from my 2003.

Just makes me think it might be kind of beat internally.

Sounds a little high ($) but not by much.
If you do get it I'd suggest putting the front fender and belt guards back on, then adding some sliders. The pegs may be an issue too-just get all the OEM stuff. Look for cracks around the forward airbox mounts.
Good Luck

Okay thanks for the replys. I don't think it has seen track time at all it's an older guy that has it. But u will find out about the track time. I don't think we have any tracks in Oregon. The air box is open no top. If it is cracked is it hard to fix or get an replacement.
