Hello first post on the XB board, can anybody get me the dimensions/height of an XB steering neck, or the inside dimensions of the triple trees from the inside of the top and bottom trees while mounted?

Thanks

Sorry, my calipers are just a fee inches too short to measure it.

The number I came up with via paper transfer was 7.820". Should be within .200" I think, if I measured from the right spots. Good luck Dean : ). You're better option is to press the tuber stem into the XB lower and counterbore the top tree to fit the factory nut.

Thanks, that is about what I came up with. I am toying with running the tuber trees with a lower bearing race spacer and longer steering stem. This is a long term burning time project though no hurry.
